Question: I'm writing a story, can u please help me with it!?
i love writing stories, and i'm writing this one called, "Dust of Glitter"!. i've only written the first chapter, but basically it's about this girl named Caitlyn [a faerie] who falls in love with a a human, which isn't allowed!. that's what i have so far!. please, if u have time, can u read my first chapter!? www!.writing!.com/authors/jalein

I enjoyed it!.!.!.thanks for the read!. You have talent!.!.!.!.keep at it!. perhaps a bit more conversation between the characters and a little less description!? (Just a thought!?)
As far as what happens next, I think the 2nd chapter should quickly move to close of school for the day!.
After school, perhaps Caitlyn could see some other girls fawning over Aiden!.!.!.or Aiden or Francis could bump into Caitlyn and both offer to walk her home!?
During the walk home, somehow Caitlyn mistakenly reveals a bit of her magic powers!.!.after all she is a faerie!.
Perhaps Aiden and Francis could be vying for Caitlyn's attention, trade insults, and finally come to a pushing match and then blows, and Caitlyn, in her distress, uses a bit of magic to break the fight up!?
If both the boys are human!.!.perhaps this magic frightens them, and they run away, only to have Aiden look back, smile, and wave a last goodbye!?

From experience just write all of it and let it take you on a journey!.
To many writers, fret about the 1st chapter and then do not do anything else!.
So write it, enjoy it, finish it and really commit to it and finish it say by Christmas, then worry about editing and sending it to a publisher
Research well, because what you have got has been done before and faeries can cast spells on humans to get what they want but bring it up to date, and have fun with it!.

plan out a beginning, a middle, and an end!. know the ending before you begin!
as you go along with the plotline, fill in details until you have it planned!.
then start making scenes so you can chain them together!.
don't be afraid to work and fix up ur plotline so it fits around ur story more! :)
