in order from first to last

Along Came a Spider

This is the book that starting it all for Patterson!. The reader is introduced to the whole cast in this novel which includes Washington detective Alex Cross, his partner John Sampson, his grandmother, Nana Mama and Cross's two children!. The reader is also introduced to Cross's arch-villain, Gary Soneji, a bad guy patterned somewhat after Hannibal Lecter!.

Kiss the Girls

The 2nd book in the series is almost as good as the first as Cross and company try to stop two serial killer/kidnappers working each side of the continent!. Are they working together or independently!?

Jack & Jill

Cross investigates two apparently unrelated D!.C!. murders (one involving a US Senator)!. When the trail begins to lead toward the White House, the action takes off!.

Cat & Mouse

Gary Soneji's back and Cross must track him down before he kills again!. A second serial killer once again terrorizes the European continent and Cross finds himself looking for the connection between the two!.

Pop Goes the Weasel

The reader is introduced to a new villain, Geoffrey Shafer, aka "The Weasel" who will show up in later works!. Shafer, a British diplomat, is murdering DC citizens and only Cross can stop him!.

Roses Are Red

Who is the Mastermind and what are his ultimate plans involving Cross and the good folks of Washington, D!.C!.!? Cross is hot on the trail of the series' newest serial killer and he may not have to look far to find the identify of this murderer!.

Violets Are Blue

The sequel to "Roses Are Red" is just as satisfying as the original!. The Mastermind is still on the loose and it appears that vampires are terrorizing the city!.

Four Blind Mice

Cross, disenchanted with life and work after too many murder investigations, is ready to hang his badge up until his buddy, Sampson, calls on his aid to help save an old Army buddy from a frame-up which will send him to the gas chamber!.

The Big Bad Wolf:

Cross, now in training for a career change involving the FBI, is called into action to track down The Wolf, a former KGB agent who is using the Internet to create a web of fear in the US!.

London Bridges

The Big Bad Wolf returns, along with British Diplomat Geoffrey Shafer in this addition to the Cross series!. Cross and the FBI are investigating terrorist demands threatening the existence of a number of cities across the globe!. Have the Wolf and Weasel joined forces!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

They are certainly great books!. The problem I have had in the last few years, is that when I am reading one, I am hearing the voice of Morgan Freeman in my head!.
