The reader is introduced to the whole cast in this novel which includes Washington detective Alex Cross, his partner John Sampson, his grandmother, Nana Mama and Cross's two children!. The reader is also introduced to Cross's arch-villain, Gary Soneji, a bad guy patterned somewhat after Hannibal Lecter!. Kiss the Girls The 2nd book in the series is almost as good as the first as Cross and company try to stop two serial killer/kidnappers working each side of the continent!.
