Consider how much of your work is electronically stored these days!. Text or video, it stays around!.

Lies that politicians (hey its the day) and others used to get away with are easily revealed these days!. Gone are the days when someone could lie about his service record or college degree and have it be undiscovered for decades if ever!. I can think of a half dozen local examples of this in the last few years!.

So what happens when twenty years from now, someone can prove you plagiarized most of your college work or even high school work, by using some already invented search engines!?

Are you that sure nobody will ever care!?

If someone had it in for you and your job required the skills that your course work proved, what do you think your chances of keeping your job would be!?

If your career requires a good reputation or reliability, why would they keep or do business with a known cheat!?

Say even you're called on as a witness in court!. Given the resources some people have to smear a witness, what happens when they can prove you're a cheat!? That your word is basically worthless!. Yes, you can laugh at the idea, but we've already had people's testimony tainted because of old video tape of them telling racist or off color jokes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
