Just saw Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspian (haven't read the books and dont plan to)!. At the end, Whats the reason that Peter and Susan cant return to Narnia but the younger kids can (aside from theyre not in the following books)!? And is there any Christian significance to that reason!? also, is the WhiteWitch analgous to the devil!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

they can't return because they are getting too old and their childhood innocence is going!. they have already learned everything they can about Narnia, and their logical sense threatens to take over and would not allow them to further comprehend the magic of Narnia!. i dont know about Christian significance, but my guess is it has something to do with children and Jesus!. and yes, the white witch is supposedly a representation of the devil!. Something about being a child and having that child like innocence!. think about it, when you get older you stop believing in child nonsense like Santa, Fairies, Magic all that stuff!. So it would only make sense that the older kids cant come back because they lack that innocence!. They've learned all that they can in Narnia!. Peter and Susan have much more to learn before they too will be too old for Narnia!.

yes the White Witch HAS to be an analogous tot he devil!. All she did was tempt and torment!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

in the book, susan and peter are told they can't return!. i think it's because they are getting to old, and they have already learned everything they were going to from Narnia!. Edmund and Lucy could still learn things!. i'm not sure if there is Christian significance, besides the fact that as we get older we don't believe things as readily!. yes, the white which is symbolic of Satan!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
