I was just wondering how can Bella love Jacob more than as a friend when she keeps saying Edward is her life!? I mean I knew she cared about Jacob a lot, but I was surprised when she started having these strong feelings for him after they kissed!. Is that even possible!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: haha, the answer above me is a little cynical >_< okay, i'll try to explain in bella's perspective, not my own!. yes, edward is truly her life!. if he were to die, she'd love him SO much that she probably wouldn't kill herself, but might just be crazy enough to live THROUGH the pain because that's what he'd have wanted!. this whole masochistic idea was clearly supported by her in New Moon!. that's the part you probably already know!. Jacob, to Bella, is like!.!.!.that best friend who's always been your best friend!. you've never looked at it any other way, because why should you!? you have a perfect man, literally!. just beautiful in every inhuman way possible!. but when suddenly, you're forced into seeing that he's always been just as perfect, but flawed, you find out that you might just love him, too!. and she does!. so there's this love that is perfect(edward) and this love that is so flawed, its perfect (jacob)!. it's possible to love two people!. again, the BIG difference for bella is who does she love MORE!. which is!.!.!.edward!. poor jacob!. Yes it's confusing because you think Bella loves Jacob like a brother and is completely in love with Edward!. And yes you can love your family and your boyfriend at the same time, but Bella isn't kissing Charlie either ok!. What she feels for Jacob is different for reasons you don't and can't yet understand!.
