There's no definitely length to a chapter, it's just like an extended paragraph!. It's from the beginning of the author's idea to the end of it, then a new idea starts up in the next chapter!. And I don't mean like doing one whole story in one chapter and starting another one in the next, but just something different, an branch off the idea before I guess is what I'm trying to say!. I've seen a chapter be only half a page, and then the next chapter is 30 pages!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no standard length for a chapter, regardless of the work or its word count!. For the most part, chapters within a work should be about the same length, although there are exceptions!. The writing should be structured so that all the necessary elements are contained within each chapter!. Height and width has nothing to do with it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
