Question: Looking for the names of a few fiction books, help please!?
There are two books I remember reading when I was young (about 9 years ago), that I can only remember vaguely what they were about!.
In the first one, I remember a tower (I think it was a tower) with a door that has a note on it, with some character named Igor, and a realization that occurred, in which he (Igor) says something to the effect of "Now I remember, I left that note to remind ME not to open the door!" That's really all I can correctly remember!.!.!.
Another book involves some kids finding some rings in a lab or foyer or something like that (I think it was in one of the kids' father's foyer, on a table or tray or something)!. The rings have some sort of power, I think to take them back in time, to different places in history!. I remember something about a place collapsing and crumbling, and them escaping it!.
I know this is all very vague, and i would appreciate it greatly if anyone has any idea whatsoever as to what the naems are / who the authors are, but I also understand if nobody has any clue what I'm talking about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

His name was Igor, and he was the one who was supposed to make sure the goblins never got their souls to their bodies!. One night he went out and freed what was behind the door of the North Wing!. It was the goblins!. The goblins have their bodies back and are going to attack the castle!. Now the young boy must go to Nilbog to stop the goblins from attacking the castle!. The setting was in Toad-in-a-Cage Caslte!. There were many secret passages that led to every room!. Then, the setting went to Granny Pinchbottoms place!. Next, it went to Nilbog, the goblins city, there it had huge jewels-emeralds, rubies, and sapphirs-used for decoration!. I liked this part because the jewels gave the city a colorful glow besides the moss!."
