I think that George needs Lennie to keep himself human!. Without Lennie, George would just wander aimlessly from job to job, only thinking of himself, and never caring about anyone!. Lennie is someone who depends on him, like a child!. Lennie loves George unconditionally, no questions asked!. Most people are out to get something from you, but not Lennie, he just wanted to be with George!.
If you have read the entire book, you will notice how George changes after what had to be done in the end to Lennie!. He starts to close down, wanting to be by himself, instead of with the other hands!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ooo i did this for my GCSE's last year

cos without him george cannot kinda look down on anyone cos he acts like a father like figure to Lennie

he'd be lonely cos he cannot really trust any one else in the ranch "every man for him self"

george need Lennie to fall back on if you understand cos if you've read the whole book Lennie is really strong and everything and George keeps him more for the protection cos George protects him too

i cant really remeber anything else sorry
