I think it depends on your style!. If you are better at description and beautiful imagery and the inner thoughts of characters, then novels are probably for you!. Novels leave more room for ambiguity, interpretation, and just sheer beautiful language than scripts do!.

However, if you would rather concentrate on dialogue and character interaction, scripts might be easier -- especially if you have a very visual imagination, where you can see in your head exactly how the scene should look, sound, etc!. Scripts are great places for smart, witty conversation that might fall flat in a novel, or for very plot-driven narratives that might not move fast enough for you if written in novel form!.

It's a personal decision!. I find it easier to write novels, but that's just me!. Take one of your ideas and write it as both!. Write it as a few scenes of a script, and then a few chapters of a novel, then see which one you liked best and works best!. It's also a choice of where you see yourself going as a writer!. Would it be a better feeling for you to watch a movie you've written, or read a book you've written!.
Sorry I couldn't tell you which is better, it's your choice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They each require different skills and techniques to utilising those skills!. Do what comes most naturally!. I know for myself that I have an inability to write novels as I don't have the patience or attention span for such a task!. Scripts are easier from that point of view (less writing)!. If there's an even flow of ability with both tasks then try starting with novels!. You can always work on the script while marketing the book!. Who knows maybe you'll get a good break and someone will option the novel and get you to write the script for it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

For my one-dollar worth of advice, I would suggest you write novels!. Writing novels give you so much latitude and freedom, while writing scripts are quite limited and subject to be revised and revised by other parties!. Of course, during the final stage in novel writing, your editor might suggest some ideas which you could accept or reject!. Go for it!.

Good luck to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure what you're asking!. Write what you like!. Neither is "easy!." Both require months, if not years of dedicated work as well as numerous rewrites!. While they are two completely different genres, you have to go with the one that's the best fit for the story as well as your talents!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is Nanowrimo if you want to write a novel now is a good time!.

I also put a link to the Sonic Society that show cases audio drama (like old time radio only with better modern recording equipment) because scripts can be quite useful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
