I know, I was just in the same dilemma!. Try City of Bones by Cassandra Clare!. It's not a short book, it's longer than the Twilight books!. It has vampires and demons, and has adventure and romance like Twilight!. I started a day and a half ago and am almost done reading it, cause it's soo good so far!.
