Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
**SPOILER WARNING!!!!**
Symbols:

Twilight- there is a dictation at the beginning of every book!. The apple represents Bella's choice between good and evil!. The apple itself is supposed to be the apple from Genesis (Adam and Eve)

New Moon- like Bella lost someone, the flower lost it's petal

Eclipse- Bella had to choose between 2 people she loved!. The ribbon(representing love) was torn and now she has to pick which part (person) she wants!.

Breaking Dawn- The pawn in the back represents Bella's turn from the weakest player on the board to the absolute strongest!.

Titles:

Eclipse- while Bella visits Jacob, she says he was like her own personal sun!. Jacob mentions that it's hardfor him when he's fighting an Eclipse (Edward)

Breaking Dawn- Bella starts a new chapter in her existance so, this book is the dawn (beginning) of her forever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Twilight - The apple symbolizes the forbidden fruit like in the bible and possibly snow white!. that edward is forbidden to bella and vice versa!.

New Moon - I think the flower symbolizes that because it is wilting, Edward has left and because it is a flower that is partly blooming and for the sole fact that it is a flower, I guess it means that her friendship with jacob will bloom in this book!.

ECLIPSE - The ribbon symbolizes Bella's friendship and love Between EC and Jacob!. Who will she choose!? What will happen to the other person!? the torn bits of the ribbon mean that her decisions life are slowly ripping to shreds and possibly that her old life is too!.

Breaking Dawn - The pawn represents Bella as a human and the queen represents bella as a vampire - strong, graceful and everything she feels she wanted to be!. also that she now feels equal to EC and his family!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

TWILIGHT:

Stephenie Meyer has stated that the apple on the cover represents the forbidden fruit from the book of Genesis!. It symbolizes Bella and Edward's love, which is forbidden, similar to the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, as is implied by the quote from Genesis 2:17 that is quoted in the beginning of the book!. It also represents the choice that Bella has, of partaking of the "forbidden fruit", Edward, or choosing to not see him!. [3] (http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Twilight_(n!.!.!.

What's with the apple!?

The apple on the cover of Twilight represents "forbidden fruit!." I used the scripture from Genesis (located just after the table of contents) because I loved the phrase "the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil!." Isn't this exactly what Bella ends up with!? A working knowledge of what good is, and what evil is!. The nice thing about the apple is it has so many symbolic roots!. You've got the apple in Snow White, one bite and you're frozen forever in a state of not-quite-death!.!.!. Then you have Paris and the golden apple in Greek mythology—look how much trouble that started!. Apples are quite the versatile fruit!. In the end, I love the beautiful simplicity of the picture!. To me it says: choice!. (http://stepheniemeyer!.com/twilight_faq!.h!.!.!.

NEW MOON:

The flower on the cover of New Moon is a red and white ruffled tulip!. Stephenie Meyer has stated that the flower has no significance to the story, as she had no part in choosing its design!.[6]

The title refers to the darkest phase of the lunar cycle, indicating that New Moon is about the darkest period of Bella's life!.[6] (http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/New_Moon_(n!.!.!.

A!. That is a ruffled tulip!. As for the meaning!.!.!. If you've read the Twilight FAQ, you know that the apple cover had a lot of meaning for me, and I was an active part of the covering process!. However, that experience is more the exception than the rule in the publishing world!. Something to keep in mind if you intend to embark on a career as a writer: lots of things you might expect to be under your control are not!. Covers, for example!. Those are mostly up to the publisher and the marketing and sales departments!. So I don't know what the tulip means—I didn't have anything to do with this one!. ECLIPSE:

The book jacket features a torn red ribbon!. Although it was supposed to be disclosed to the public in May 2007 at the Eclipse Prom, Barnes & Noble and Stephenie Meyer's official website premiered the newly released cover in March 2007, along with a preview summary of the book's plot!.[3] The broken ribbon represents choice, as in the book Bella must choose between her love for vampire Edward Cullen, and her friendship/love with werewolf Jacob Black!. Meyer also stated that the ribbon represents the idea that Bella can't break away completely from her human life!.[4] (http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/Eclipse_(no!.!.!.

BREAKING DAWN:

Breaking Dawn's cover is a metaphor for Bella's progression throughout the entire saga!. She began as the weakest (at least physically, when compared to vampires and werewolves) player on the board: the pawn!. She ended as the strongest: the queen!. In the end, it's Bella that brings about the win for the Cullens!.(http://stepheniemeyer!.com/bd_faq!.html)Www@QuestionHome@Com

twilight cover=in the bible, God forbids adam and eve to eat the forbiden fruit!. Edward is forbiden for bella because he is a dangerous vampire!. The saying is "the forbiden fruit taste the sweetest"!.
new moon cover=stephanie meyer did not have any choice in picking this cover picture!. but the name new moon is when there is a dark period when the moon covers the sun!. edward leaves bella and bella connot take it so she feels like there is a dark part in her life without edward!.
eclipse cover=the red ribbon is broken!.!.!.!.bella and jacobs friendship is broken(somewhat)so maybe that is why the red ribbon is broken!. it also represents that bella has to chose between her love for edward and friendship/love with jacob!. Bella is also now sure if she wants to break away from her human life so soon, too!.
breaking dawn=SPOILERS!!!!!!when bella is turned into a vampire she is trying to get through it because it burns so much(the venom running throuhg her vains when edward bites her)!. she is trying to "break dawn" and survive the pain!. and then it when bella is human in the first book and weak(the pawn in the book cover picture)and then she slowly gets stronger into a vampire in the last book(the queen in the book cover picture)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

okay so;

With Eclipse its called that because even though Jacob is her sun, her happy place, he can avoid an eclipse!. Which is generally Edward!.!.!.!. And the ribbon is like bella being pulled in 2 different directions

And with Breaking Dawn she named it that for its Bella's new life, a whole new beginning with the start of a new dawn!. Then with the picture, you know how the is a pawn in the background and the king/queen piece!. Well bella used to be the pawn, a helpless person who is clumsy and just happened to fall in love with a vampire!. Then in the end she ends up saving lots of people so she became VERY important!

Hope I helped, and I'm pretty much just guess other that the Breaking Dawns cover!! Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stephenie Meyer tells us that the apple represents the serpant and the apple of temptation from the bible!. The flower she had nothing to do with it!. The chess piece represents Bella then and Bella now!. The one in the backround shows how she is weak and small, but then the queen is the one in front, and that is how Bella comes to be by saving most of the Cullen's!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
