Why did Edward remove Bella's wedding garter with his teeth!.!.!.

This is what it says in the book:

"Emmet and Jasper howled with laughter at my blush while Edward removed my borrowed garter- which I shimmied down nearly to my ankle- very carefully with his teeth"

Because that is how it is done at most weddings!.!.!. at mine the D!.J!. tied his (my hubby) hands behind his back and then made him get the garter- he had to shimmy up my dress while I was seated in a chair and get it off with his teeth to a fun song!. Everyone loved it!. Then he gets to toss the garter to all available single men!. It's just a fun tradition- but not done at every wedding!. (most that I've been to though)Www@QuestionHome@Com

My uncle did that to his bride on their wedding day!. It was funny to watch and the look on both of their faces was priceless!.

It's kind of funny that Stephenie would have Edward do it with his teeth because for all of the books he was worried about biting her!.!.!.yet then he did it!.!.!.but it was obviously very careful!.

It was just to show Edward has a fun loving/humorous side!.
