Question:

Ok, I have come up with the first half of my plot and I have all the characters!. However, I don't know how to start my story!. So here's the plot!. The main character breaks up with her boyfriends which is very simple!. However, about a week later she gets a call from a hospital - her ex boyfriend was in a motorcycle accident!. Later, when he wakes up he does not remember the break up (he had amnesia) and they start to fall in love again, making the same mistakes as they did the first time as well as different ones!. I can't find a way to start my story, or to finish it! Can you help!? How should I start - and what would you find an effective finish!?

Maybe start with how bad their relationship was!. This way it's not only the break-up he forgets, but also that they were not very happy/fought a lot!.

For the end: what about a twist! (the plot needs one) Maybe she finds out he didn't have amnesia all along! He just pretended because he didn't want to lose her!. That would cause for some good conflict and make for a good climax!. And then, of course, the inevitable and-they-lived-happily-ever-after kiss!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just start writing!. Start anywhere, just get the story down on paper!. Lots of times you don't know where the story should start until you get to the end!. By the end, you will have an idea of theme and by having the end down, you can now plan for it at the beginning!. You can work for months on that first chapter, only to find the story should start at chapter 3!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

errrr im no an expert but u can either go straight into the break up or build up to it, it depends how u want it to be!.
Its also up to u how u want this story to end if its a really strong love book then it can end with them staying together or it could have a tragic love ending!.

start with the accident!.!.!.!.!.!.right when it happens!. Then take the story to the beginning where they start to have problems leading up to the break up and the accident!. Pick it up from there and and end with some sappy love story crap!. lol!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
