So, my main character is 18 years old and lives with her dad, but I don't know what his job should be!. He's a single parent so it should be something that pays well, but not too much!. Enough for the two if them to survive!. And something that has him out most of the day!. He comes home just when it begins to get dark!. And has an off every now and then!.

It fits your qualifications; it pays well, but not too much, would have him out most of the day, comes home just when it begins to get dark, and would give him days off every now and then!.
