I agree with the first person who posted!.
It makes people think and realize that the setting in Fahrenheit 451 could be our future (probably not as dramatic, but still)!. Our government is so corrupt!.!.!.
I personally believe in the First Amendment, so I don't think any books should be banned!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Schools and public libraries often ban books because they think that the language is not suitable for kids or that they present "immoral ideas" and what not!. It doesn't mean bookstores ban them!.

Isn't it a joke!? Trying to blind the people and make them ignorant!.!.!.

I'm sorry, but it absolutely turns my stomach when people try to ban books and keep others from reading them!. That's a sure fire way to make a totalitarian society, right there!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

If that's the case, then books like '1984' by George Orwell would be too!. Personally I've never read it, just the summary, but I've read '1984' and it sounds like a much more 'worse' book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I bought it and read it this past year!. Again!. It is not banned!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because it made people think and wonder about the world!.
