Emotional!? I get nearly hysterical sometimes!

I lost it while reading "The Life Of Pi!." I cried all the way through "The Art of Racing in the Rain" and STILL can't even talk about that book without tearing up!. "Bel Canto" nearly put me off the edge!.

I've read "The Weekend" by Peter Cameron a dozen times and cry everytime!.

I too have thrown a book across the room!. I'll get so worn out emotionally, I have to put it aside for a couple of days!

Yeah I totally get that!.!.!. sometimes I'll get so into it that I'll be sitting there reading with the biggest smile on my face cause something happy or funny just happened and I don't realize it until someone looks at me weird lol my best friend says I'm a freak!.!.!.pshaw!.!.!. I'm also big on getting mad at a character or the author and I'll start like yelling at the book or I'll throw it across the room if something happens that I don't like!. It's funny cause I'll do it in public and people look at me weird cause I'm freaking out at a book :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

if there is something wrong with you there is with me too, when i read a book i am there!.!.i get close to the characters, as a rule i dont read romances but the twilight series although not necessarily a romance was fantastic!. i read all four in a month!. the movie comes out here nov!. 21st!. robert pattinson is a doll and i look forward to crying at the movie as i did with the books!. happy reading!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do!. I get so involved with the characters! My friends try to stay away when I read, as I get angry, sad, happy and so on!. One time I was reading Noughts and Crosses (by Malorie Blackman) at the bus stop!. At the end its really, really sad!. I burst into tears!. A lovely old lady came over and said, "are you alright, dear!?" I replied, weeping, "no! Callum's dead!" And the old lady tried to comfort me, thinking I'd lost someone who wasn't fictional!. Oh, the shame! lol!.

Depends on the book!.
Some books that I'm really connected with do that to me!. I bawled when I read the last three HP books-- especially the 7th!.

Other books don't make me emotional at all!.

hahahaha!. thats what makes a good book! if i dont get an emotion out of a book, i call it dull!. i was reading a book a few months ago, and i threw the book down on the table (like 700+ pgs) it was super loud and yelled something incoherent, EVERYONE THOUGHT I WAS NUTS!!! Www@QuestionHome@Com

I get really emotional when my favorite character in the story or book dies!. I was reading a Harry Potter fan fiction on the Internet, and I started to cry really bad so my mom got angry at me so I ran to the bathroom!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is very normal!.
It was really a good one to have it make you shed a tear!.
This means that we are sensitive people for we feel the pain and happiness of those characters that we read and relate with them!.
