Question: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon - Need a refresher!?
I am about to read Dragonfly in Amber after reading Outlander a looooong time ago and I can't quite remember the ending!. Jamie sends Claire back through the stones!.!.!.!.!.what were the results!? Does she return to her old life!? Does the author make mention of what becomes of Jamie after that!? I don't have the book, can't wait for it to be returned to the library and I need to get the events straight in my head before I begin this second book!
Can anyone give me a refresher on the last chapters of Outlander!? Your responses are appreciated! Thanks =DWww@QuestionHome@Com

I just found out about the series like last week (can you believe it!?!?), and only just finished Outlander yesterday!. I love it! I think I'm going to find Dragonfly in Amber as soon as I can go to the bookstore :)
Anyway, Jamie did send Claire to the stones (Craigh na Dun) but he didn't see her go!. He left her and said he'd be at a nearby cottage, just to make sure she'll be ok!. So after Jamie left, Claire started to think about her options, whether she should go back to Frank or stay with Jamie!. At last, she decided to stay with Jamie and she went to the cottage to him!. So Claire actually stayed with Jamie until the end of the book!.
Then they went to Lallybroch, Jamie's home and met his sister and brother in law (and his nephew and new-born niece)!. Later, Jamie was captured by the English and was put into prison, where he would be hanged!. Claire saved him with the help of Murtagh, Rupert, and a few other people and they escaped to France I think, to an abbey where Jamie (who was badly injured) was treated!.
The book ended at the abbey, where Jamie took Claire to a hot spring below the abbey!. It ended after they!.!.!. well, you-know-what!.!.!. and Claire told Jamie she had a gift for him, and the author hinted that Claire's pregnant!.
I'm still so excited about the book, having just finished it!. It's amazing! I can't believe I just found out about it!. Can't wait to read the sequel!.
