Question: The Crucible - Betty Paris!?

In the Crucible, does the character Betty Paris play a large part!?
Does she have quite a few lines in it!?
Acting it out in school and I've been given this part - even though I just wanted a small part, a friend said she's one of the main characters!?

Betty appears in act 1 & act 3!. She doesn't appear in act 2 or act 4 so you wouldn't be needed for those rehearsals!. You will have to work closely with the actresses playing Abigail, Mary & the other girls!.
Betty doesn't have many lines in act 1 - she is asleep for much of the act; in act 3 she appears with the other girls in the Court!. Her lines in that act are almost all in chorus with the other girls!. The Crucible is a great play - enjoy the opportunity to work on it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
