Question: Ok so i've never been much for reading books!.!.!.!?
I was always a more "aww ill watch the movie" type of person, but ive decided to give reading a try because i often find myself with nothing to do!. However i'd need a book that would keep me intrested the whole way through!. Now i dont have a problem with it being realy long or rather short but the only thing i don't realy want is a romance novel, because i just know without needing to read it that it won't keep me intrested the whole way through!.!.!. Thanks in advance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Think of some of the movies you liked and read the book!. You get different information from the books!. I used to read a lot of Tom Clancy books, and there is so much there than there is in a movie!. There's just less limits to a book compared to a movie, movies are always cutting things out!. Things can also be explained more in a book!. My wife has always been a movie watcher, but I convinced her to read the Harry Potter books!. She never realized how funny the Weasley twins were, or had heard of Peeves!.

Anyway, that's my advice!. Think of a movie you liked, and see if the book is better!. Nine times out of ten, it is!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thomas Harris' Red Dragon (precursor to his Silence of the Lambs)!. Robert Harris' The Fatherland (based on the premise that Hitler won the war; the US President-elect, Joseph P!. Kennedy, is in Berlin for the celebration of Hitler's 75th birthday; a deep dark secret comes to light)!. P!.D!. James's Children of Men (a future world, not far off, where man has lost the ability to procreate !.!.!. or has he!?) Anything by Michael Crichton !.!.!. even if you've seen the movie! (Jurassic Park the movie was pretty ho-hum; the book scared my socks off!) Anything by Ken Follett, from Eye of the Needle or The Third Twin (suspense) to his brilliant Pillars of the Earth!. A good get your feet wet read that I would suggest is Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card!. It's not star trekky or anything and it got several awards, but still read to me like a movie!.

A book about aliens, government bred child geniuses, what's not to love eh!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
