Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think there is only one Harry Potter and one HP series!. Twilight is fantasy, but that's pretty much where the similarities end!. I love both series, and I highly recommend Twilight b/c it's well-written and I've yet to hear of someone who read it and didn't become obsessed with it!. It's also more than just vampires and werewolves, it's a love story!. Try reading some of it and see if you don't get hooked!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Nothing!. They are overrated pieces of crap!. You should slap yourself for thinking it will be the next Harry Potter book!. Twilight is cheesy, cliched, dragged on, has cardboard characters, boring plot, meaningless fluff, has no depth, Mary Sue/Gary Stu material, badly written, full of purple prose writing!. It was lucky enough to get into the literature world!. I don't know what possessed Little, Brown to publish such a horrible book!. (And the three books that follow it!.) They must be desperate!. People out there have better works than Twilight but they're still being rejected, while Meyer, who can't even write a decent sentence, is swimming with money!. Edward Cullen is an abusive, cold, dead, controlling, sparkly, creepy, impatient patsy who loves using his wife for a doormat!. He's about as interesting as watching ice melt!. Girls love him because he's "hot!." In my eyes, he is far from hot because of his personality!. The only reason girls keep reading this fluff is because of Edward!. It's an embarrassment!. If I were Meyer, I would want my readers to love the series because of its depth and meaning, not because of a "hot" fictional character!. Unfortunately, Twilight has neither depth nor meaning!. It's a piece of overrated, badly written crap that should be incinerated!. No way in hell is Edward the next Harry!. At least Harry has a personality!.
