Question: Name of a book with a sunflower on the cover!.!?

I read a book in high school, probably sophomore year, and I can't think of what it's called!. If memory serves me correctly it was about a teacher who gets transferred to the south to teach a small school of black kids!. I think the book had a sunflower on the cover and had "water" on the title!. I do not remember who wrote it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
