I read it many years ago when I was in elementary school!. It's about the life story of a woman who wants to follow her grandfather's footsteps in making the world a more beautiful place!. He does it by painting pictures!. Throughout her whole life, this woman does a lot of things with this in mind but never finds it until she is much older!. She decides to plant purple perennial flowers, (I think it's petunias but I'm not sure since I don't even know if they are perennial), and she plants them everywhere for everyone to enjoy!.
