The Historian - like Twilight, not great literature exactly, but it's atmospheric and compelling whilst reading!. More of a mystery than an romance!. http://www!.amazon!.co!.uk/Historian-Elizab!.!.!. Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice (and then the Vampire Chronicles) which are really fairly well known!. They are gothic romance again!. http://www!.amazon!.co!.uk/Interview-Vampir!.!.!. Techincally, I don't think these are "young adult"!. But then, I've often found "young adult" to basically be a label stuck on any book that presumes I have the attention span of a four year old on speed!. Not always, but often These are easily readable and not complex, though, you wouldn't have to struggle through them!. I would also suggest Carpe Jugulem by Terry Pratchett even though I doubt it's what you're looking for!. This one girl goes to a college in this town run by vampires, and moves in with these 3 awesome people!. I love this book Vampire Diaries (L!.J Smith)- This is about a girl named Elena who has a crush on this guy named Stefan, and she learns about how vampires are real, etc etc!. Good book series ^^ Vmapire Acadamy- I have seen these books on the shelves and have yet to pick one up, but Ive heard that people love them!.
