Do you like a tone of romance like twilight and nothing else in the book, or do you like Eragon with a ton of adventure and a bit of romance!? I want to write a book, but I don't know which path I should take it in!. So basically, do yuo like romance books or adventure books more!? thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think you should try to make one that's more evenly distributed between adventure and romance!. I enjoyed the Twilight books, but thought they would have been much better had it not only been based on romance!. After all, they were vampires, action should be a given!. I think you'd reach a greater crowd by equally incorporating both!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like romance as a sub-plot!. Romance as a plot isn't really respected in the world of publishing because everyone is trying to find that special someone, so it isn't anything new!. Now, not everyone is going to go to the moon or some magical school or something like that!. To me, a romance plot is just a Harlequin novel in disguise, and those books will never be classics for a reason!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like well written books with great character development and exciting plot lines!. I like books with heavy romance, heavy action, any mix of the two, books with psychological thrillers, et cetera, as long as they're good!.

Overall, though, I prefer it when they're more action!. Not Eragon-action, though!. Real action!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
