Question: Beowulf comic book help!?
Hey! I'm doing a project for my AP English class and my assignment is to create a comic book recreating a new adventure for Beowulf!. I know I want Beowulf's "opponent" to be a two headed monster named Ceolwulf!. My question is, though, what kind of battles should I create between these two characters!? Any good/creative ideas!?

Thanks so much!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It sounds like you have a pretty creative teacher!

Yes, Beowulf is a fighter!. The conflict in your story must have a believable motive -- perhaps the "monster" is human, actually conjoined twins, with one lower body, three or four arms, and the two heads!. Maybe these twinned individuals were injured in a minor incident in one of Beowulf's previous battles (flashback to the actual story) and blame Beowulf for it!.

The twins are both very intelligent and crafty, although they do disagree a lot, and resent being tied to each other for life!. They lay a number of traps for Beowulf, which our hero detects and evades, sometimes slaying nasty creatures along the way!.

At the end, one of the twins' most elaborate traps goes wrong, and after trying to bring Beowulf down, they're caught in it themselves!. One of the twins is killed, perhaps by accident, or by an arrow through his eye!. The other one, knowing his life will soon end no matter what happens, begs Beowulf to give him a quick death!. After thinking about this, Beowulf kills him mercifully, and composes a short poem in the style of the main epic, praising the bravery and skill of his twin opponents!.

Well, there's a plot!. Now I hope you can draw in the manga style, which will produce a wowser of a comic book!Www@QuestionHome@Com
