Write about your own life experiences and ideas on things that include the triumphs and hopefully, the few failures, you may have had !. Write about how you handled the victories and what you learned from them and how you may have handled defeats and what you learned from them as well!. Write about something you have strong feelings or beliefs in or about or something you enjoy!. If you start to keep a diary, just jot down with it, thoughts and ideas that may come up while writing your diary, put an asterisk beside it so you know its a random thought that you could go back and refer to later!. go to the library get a book on how to write a book!. talk to an author, perhaps!. Sure, use your imagination and speak from your heart!. Its much easier to write a story you made as an idea that one of us will give you you may not be as familiar with!. I like to write stories of real events and build a story around that!. Its easier to do as you have actual events you can connect together!. Something like a story from World War 1 for example!. Or even 9/11!. Create a couple of fictitious characters with the plot being an actual event!. You can research online and you'll come across something and be like ooh I can add that in my story! And then you have a whole bunch of ideas and you're like oh this is gonna be awesome!.

OR, create a fantasy land!. Ever play a video game!? Like Halo for example, thats a story somebody wrote!. Same thing with Mario!. I like lands of magic!. Lord of Rings, Harry Potter, World of Warcraft stuff (pushes up his glasses, sniffles, and brushes off the chip crumbs on his shirt)

I also love middle age type stuff!. Knights and Kings!. Before all this technology!. Or you can do futuristic and have us traveling in space!.

When you write a story, the world is yours!. You are the creator!. So whatever it is you like, whatever dreams you got, whatever you want to imagine !.!.!. put yourself and your mind into that story!.

I used to create board games, and movies, poems, music!. Its a lot of work, takes a lot of motivation!. You'll definately have fun and be happy!. Good for you, I like how you want to write a story!. It will exercise your brain and relax your muscles!. Im happy cause you're gonna be happy, thats great!. I should probly get back into that stuff!.
