The Odyssey is essentially an epic, so I would suggest something along the lines of:

Odysseus' ten year long journey back from the Trojan War is fraught with danger as he encounters mythological beasts and vengeful Gods!. Odysseus must overcome all of these obstacles and ultimately dispose of a crowd of intransigent suitors before order is once again restored in his household!.
