"Several girls wanted to know if Edward would have a more difficult time being around Bella when she's having her period!.

Totally! I don't get that!. I mean, if he had problems merely by being near her, shouldn't it be worse when she's technically BLEEDING ALL DAY!?!?!?!!!!! And wouldn't it be way worse for Jasper, since he has so much more problem with his bloodlust!? I mean, at every school he would go to, every day there would be girls who had their periods walking past him!. This has been addressed in an interview!. Stephenie said something along the lines of: that blood doesn't smell very good to vampires, because it is composed of things other than blood!. Edward knows when she has her period, and he can smell it, but he is a gentlemen, he would never say anything!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

stephenie meyer answered this a while ago!.!. apparently it's like "dead blood" and so it's not as strong but it's still kinda uncomfortable!. but he doesn't mention it cuz well he's edward and too much of a gentleman and then bella is embarrased to ask about it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
