The ones that love Twilight also usually seem to love the Jonas Brothers, writing answers with OMG and LOL! and freaking out over any other trend!? They're nothing but mindless sheep following whatever the media puts out for them (Twilight, Jonas Bros, bad grammar/text talk), are superficial and lack the slightest bit of originality!. These kids usually don't read and most often found out about Twilight through a friend who most probably has a sister/cousin or friend from Sunday school who's into it!. Most were even those who'd shudder when someone spoke of vampires and hid under their blankets from these 'creatures of darkness' but alas the media, namely Stephenie Meyer and Twilight, has bought them over with a commercialized, watered-down version which doesn't seem too 'goth' or 'freak' for their liking!. The marketability and popularity of the Jonas Brothers can easily be linked to the commonly used phrase 'sex sells'!. They're nothing but a bunch of pin-up boys with a catchy tune or two purposely picked with the intent of cashing in!. As for OMG and LOL, it just proves how modern technology is corrupting the English language!. Don't believe me, just pick up a 19th century novel and see for yourself the difference between the language used now and the language of 100 years ago!. Just goes to show how corrupt and corporate everything is becoming!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I feign enjoyment of Twilight on an almost daily basis!. I read the books!. Liked the first two!. Made everyone I know who's obsessed with reading them, and can no longer stand to hear about them (and how popular vampires are suddenly becoming; whatever happened to letting creatures of the dark stay there!?) I do not, however, feign slight enjoyment of the Jonas Brothers!. They're a "guilty pleasure" if you will (along with Spice Girls, 'nSYNC and, sadly, Britney Spears every now and then), and I will almost definitely own up to listening to them every now and then when my iPod's on shuffle and I can't take my hands off the wheel to change the song and I can't really hear it because I'm talking to a friend in the car anyway!.
