I liked The Stand!. It's about a flu virus that kills the majority of people on earth!. The story is about the ones that do survive and what they become as a society!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I honestly think that the best novel Stephen King wrote is the Green Mile!. It is not his usual style or genre, but I believe that he did a better job in that book of describing the situation that those people were in that could be understood by the reader than he has ever done before!. The book grips you and puts you in the perspective of the people in the book better than he ever has before!.

After that, I would say The Stand was his second best novel!. He didn't catch the reader in terms of personal perspective like he did in The Green Mile, but it was a much more intriguing and all encompassing novel, with a better story line!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My top favorites are The Green Mile and Insomnia!. These are great, I think they explore a side of the humans mind that wasn't shown as much in any other novel he wrote!.
I also loved his book Everything's eventual, which consist of something like 5-10 short stories!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
