i like sarah dessen and authors like her!. i have already read twilight so please dont mention that! and vampire academy was also good!. books with romance and that arent too serious would be great

Rachel Cohn is awesome, but someone has already mentioned Gingerbread and Shrimp (I thought Gingerbread was far superior, but both good)

also check out Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, which Cohn co-wrote with David Levithan- my favourite YA book of late- read it before they turn it into a movie and Michael Cera ruins everyone's image of Nick!

I personally really enjoyed the novel The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks!. The movie was really great as well, but nothing beats the book!. It just has so much more feeling and movement, but don't get me wrong, the movie did as well!. It's just, i don't know!. I believe that you will have a better connection with it!. i was gonna say you should read sarah dessens books! they are just so good!. i also liked the twilight series !. you could read books by ellen hopkins!. they deal with more serious stuff but they also have love in them!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
