Does my essay sound really cheesy or corny to you!? because I have to read it in front of the whole class and i don;t want to make a fool of myself !.



Thirteen years of my life had not been the greatest years of my life!. I have witnessed a suicide attempt happen only a few feet before my eyes, my parents’ daily physical and verbal abuse, and years of depression and lack of self worth!. But someone, somehow, changed my world around!.
I met _______when I was at the lowest point in my life!. My head was hung low, sorrow and despaired had laid its burden on me, and nothing could get any worse!. But surprisingly it did!. The first smile he cracked on my face was only one of a million that he has given me, throughout the times I have shared with him!. Every moment we spend together only builds me to be a better, brighter person inside and out!. For once I felt loved!. He loved me for who I am; my individuality and self worth was the most important thing that he wanted me to have!. I have learned to rely on myself and broaden my potential in life!. I have gained self respect and since then I have pushed myself up and held on tight no matter what happens!. I forgave and forget, and never regretted anything!. I only learned and built myself to be a better person from it!. Thanks to him, a new day was an even greater adventure for me than the day before!.
He was there to hold me up when everything else around me was falling; he was there to hold me back when I was to close to the edge!. He was there to help me hold on when things got tough, but most importantly, he was there to hold my hand whether I needed it or not!.
He has been my rock!. He has taught me to hold onto my confidence and let go of my fears!. His strength of heart and willingness to push through the hard times has helped me build my self esteem and perseverance!. I have grown to love him and myself in the process!. I have learned to never take things for granted and that I will always have myself to rely on when I have no one else!. I know I am a confident, independent and unique person in my very own way!. Therefore, I believe in a certain someone, my boyfriend, ________ !.
