I'm a Harry Potter fanatic, and I have a question!. I saw a time line of Dumbledore on the computer, and he lived to be like 105 or something!. Meanwhile, I know Bathilda Bagshot was a friend of his mother's!. That means she would have to be like 130 or something, which seems impossible!. Do wizards live longer or something!? The primary reason I think this is so is because wizards do not have technology, pollution, and heath hazards that muggles do!. Everything is accomplished by magic, so factories, cars, and common electricity are unnecessary!. I thought that JK Rowling said Dumbledore lived until he was close to 150 years old, but I could be wrong!. Indeed, Bathilda would've had to be ancient when she gave that interview to Rita Skeeter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes, they do!. In HP specifically, it is like this because it shows how time was spent throughout life!. Like how Harry's life somehow connects to Dumbledore's and Voldemort's lives!. It actually depends on the author how long they want their characters to live!.
