I am 22, and an avid reader!. i just finished Terry Brooks Genesis of Shanarra series (loved it!!)!. I had a friend recommend the Twilight series to me, but she is in high school!. Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Don't waste your time, and don't trust anyone who calls such a slipshod series of novels 'a saga'!. Twilight is really sweet for pre-teens and young girls, but if you read Terry Brooks, don't expect Stephanie Meyer to blow you away!. You see, the thing is, most of the people who like Twilight have never enjoyed reading a book before!. This is how it got it's reputation as being excellent!. Twilight is, in fact, a poorly set out, badly brought together work of fiction!. It is contrived and cliche!. The characters are one-dimensional at best!. The main character has no other motive for any single thing that she does the entire series other than her love for the sparkly vampire!. If you're looking for something with any use of literary devices, any plot, any real meaning!.!.!. look somewhere else!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I doubt it, unless: You're into rock-hard sparkly 108 year old virgins who are basically the living dead!. He's also Very romantic in a creepy way, like sneaking into her room watching her at night without her knowledge, disabling her car because he deems it unsafe for her to visit her best friend, chews open your uterus, bruises you during sex !.!.!. warm cuddly stuff like that!.
