Question: Should I consider writing two versions of this!?
I am considering writing a book and my story is quite a violent one that has yet to be written on paper!. For the sake of shock value as well as showing how evil certain characters are in it, I have many mental notes about all sorts of little gory details I'd like to include in my book!. My problem is that I think that too much violence will ensure that the book will not be published, I think that once a publishing company takes a single glance at how bloody my book is, they will become irrationally biased towards the rest of the whole plot and assume that the book isn't good enough!. So I'm wondering if I should A!.compromise my work just to get it published or B!. just not even try to publish it or C!. try to publish it with all the violence and gore remaining!. Those are the only three options from what I can see, so if you think there's another option or agree with one of them, please help me out!. This crap is going to drive me nuts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are extremely violent books out there, you know!. The Demonata, for instance, by Darren Shan!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just write it from your heart and write and write!.

Just turn up on the page and get everything out down on paper, write it,

With what you are writing is a real life story and they are published!.

Check out what is out there and if yours is different then you will get published!.

Good luck and if you need any further help, contact me!.

Publishers/Agents get millions of would be authors every day of the week!.

From experience, just write it first and then worry later about getting it publisher!. I think what you need to do is not to worry about it and get it down!.

Spend an hour a day writing and if you want it published and are determined it will happen but it can take a long time!.

From experience, you need a different angle!. I tell writers to read and read what they want to write which helps them focus a hell of lot better then just writing surface stuff as I call it!.

Then find someone to edit it and then start knocking on publishers/agents doors!. They will not even look at it unless you have a synopsis and 3 chapters!.

Look at the real stories books and see what publishers have published them!. If its the same, then they may or may not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
