Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
almost every time, because i would really like to stay inside the book's world for a little bit longer!. reality is so boring compared to life between the pages of a good book; a great writer knows how to describe everything beautifully, and you don't get that magic in real life!. and sometimes you get so emotionally attached to the characters that when you finish the book it feels like saying goodbye to a dear friend!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, when I feel that way about a book, it is because I really liked the characters and want to experience more!. The author has made them so real, the writing has been excellent, or the action has been so impressive that I want to know what would happen in the next book!. Sometimes it makes me wish I was an author, to transport other people minds, and be able to move their emotions!. I really LOVE a story that will make me laugh out loud or cry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh absolutely! The reason is because you become part of that story as you get further and further along!. I know when I really get into a book I look forward to picking it up and reading it and I sometimes think of the story and characters throughout my day!. When the story ends and all the anticipation and excitement come to an end, what is there to look forward to!? Then the search begins for another exciting and enticing book!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I always do, especially if it's a good book!. Not only sad, but I feel lost and hollow!. I have this habit of dreaming of the characters in the books come alive at night when I read the book in the day time!. Yes, I feel like saying goodbye but I don't want to let them go!. That's why I always hope that some producers will make a film of the stories I like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Often, i have even stopped reading a book and left the last pages as i did not want to finish it!. Horrible when you have just read a very good book and have finished it and then finding another book is not as good!. But then you read yet another one and it is just as good!. I love reading and so does my kids!. I know how you feel!.:)Www@QuestionHome@Com

How about this- I've been writing the same book for nearly a year, I've got over 160,000 words and there is still no end in sight! I told my publisher it would be ready by the end of August and now I don't think I'm going to have it done by Christmas!. So, this is one book I WON'T be sorry to finish!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, often!. If a book is really absorbing, and I have felt the characters come alive, then I feel sad when I come to the end, as if I have lost some friends!. also if I have been really absorbed in the book, and it has a sad ending I feel sad too!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
