Okay, I LOVE Edward Cullen, but a lot of people don't!.

If you love him, WHY!?

I love Edward Cullen because he is my ideal perfect man!. He loves Bella with all his heart (his dead heart) and would do anything to keep her safe!.
Of course, he's gorgeous!.
He knows about music (a characteristic I decided I liked about a guy after reading 'Just Listen'!. Heh heh)!.
He is actually NICE to not only Bella, but others too!. He has a good sense of humour!.
Etc!.!. etc!.!.!.

I think when people call him 'over-bearing' and 'over-protective', its because they are only seeing it from Bella's point of view!. She may think these thinks (not in a bad way), but she might actually really need it, being the danger magnet she is!. She should be happy that there IS someone there to protect her like that!. Its just part of the way he loves, and thats absolutely fine by me!!!

I don't like the book period!. Poor writing!. She uses way too much purple prose, an overabundance of said-bookisms, Tom Swifites, illegal POV switches, a huge deus ex machina in the fourth book; plus, her characters develop some in the first book--mostly regressing--and they stay static throughout the rest of the series!.
