Question: Know anything about the Dexter books!?

I have been watching Dexter on Showtime and really like it!. I recently found out that it was originally a book series!. Does anyone know who the author is, when the books were released, or which book was the first in the series!? ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

Darkly Dreaming Dexter is a 2004 novel by Jeff Lindsay!. It has formed the basis of the Showtime television series Dexter!. It won the 2005 Dilys Award!. To my knowledge there are three books Dearly Devoted Dexter was book two and the third is Dexter in the Dark!. Lindsay does not write for the Showtime series!.!.!.he lives in England and is working on Dexter # 4!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the first one is Darkly Dreaming Dexter!. It is pretty good!. It deviates slightly from the TV show, but is consistent enough to not annoy the reader!. Not a bad read!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
