I have to write a scary story for my Gifted Communications course!. It has to be 600-1000 words!. Does anyone have any ideas that I could brainstorm on!? I am having serious writers block!. Thanks everyone!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here's a few:
-2 Girls are all dating the same guy, they just don't know it!. They find out, and get even with him but accidentally kill him!. Then, he comes back to life and tries to kill them!.
-Kid buys a CD at an indie record store in town with a creepy title (like Moon Death, or something)!. Doesn't listen to it!. Friend sees it, borrows it, and the next day winds up dead!. Other ppl listen to it, also wind up dead!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How about a short story about a character's descent into lunacy, from the perspective of his/her own inner thoughts!? Maybe a stressful or traumatic situation triggers it!.!.!.

The realistically scariest thing I can think of is to be alone in the house at night and to look up from what I'm doing to see someone who definitely doesn't belong there!. Then, think of FDR's famous words, "We have nothing to fear but fear itself!." Isn't the thought of being afraid sometimes one of the scariest things you can think of!?

heres my ideas-

1!. a bunch of people are on a plane!. they crash in the ocean near a beach!. nobody knows where they crashed because the plane sinked!. the only way people could no where it was was if they got captured by a ghost from the crash!. the main characters try to find where it is staying alive and warning people, and they die, so its left a mysterey forever!.

2!. its the cities "city cookout" where everyone comes to eat burgers and food and have fun!. thousands of people eat these burgers, and they suddenly find out the cows were poisoned and killed by poison, and these people are dying to!. now the people/zombies/ghosts are poisoning all food, and no one knows where they are!.

NOTE: its always good to add in adjectives like: "a drop of sweat rolled down the back or his neck!. as he stepped, the leaves crunched, the trees sway, keeping the creepy feeling alive!."

There's a girl who's a hobo and her parents got brutally murdered!. She thinks she's being stalked by the same man that killed her parents!. One day she goes into a abandoned building, because of a freak rainstorm!. But what she doesn't know is he's there!. Watching her every move!. Then finally he attacks and ya know its like a old style victorian house so there's tuns of places to run in and try to hide!. In the end it turns out it's her brother whom she thought was living with her aunt and uncle!. The ending is he goes away and she now lives in an asylum and she's writing this as a letter to everyone whom it concerns!.

In an abandoned highschool, not to far from here, there once was a boy!. this boy was new to the school!. he came in, and everyone made fun of him!.but there was 1 girl who was nice to him!. she was on the cheer squad, and everyone loved her!. her boyfriend was a foot ball player, and a senior!. one day, the boyfriend sees his girlfriend talking to the new kid!. so he spies on them, and thinks that she is cheating on him!. So one day, while the new kid is walking through the cafateria, the seniors spot him, and go after him!. the boyfriend takes him out to a field, and tortures him, cuts off his head and his legs, and the boy dies!. in the next few months, the senior is just acting like it never happened, until one day!. when the teachers are passing out the new year book, he sees his picture, but it has an X written in blood across his face!. now hes scared, the senior goes out to his locker to put it away!. and when he opens the locker, a flash comes from inside, like the blade of a knife flashes in the sun!. so the senior starts running!. and hides behind a bush!. then he sees the flash again, only closer!. and when he tries to run for it, he trips, and then he felt the sharp sting driving through his leg, and he looks back and sees the boy, with his head stitched back on, and his legs sown back to his own body!. and the boy says!.!.!. revenge!. the next day, the teachers cant figure out where the senior had gone off to!. then, they open the door to the class room, and hanging from the ceiling is the senior, with 6 slashes from a blade in his chest!. and written in the seniors blood on the walls says, your next!. the teacher turns around, and thought he saw a student walk by!. he looks out side, and the knife goes right through his head!. the principal, closes down the school, and some say they see a stiched up body, still roming the school grounds, looking for the cheer leader!.

I'd go with something like, you and three other friends go to school, and right when you and the three other friends get there, there is no one there, you search for people, the whole town seems empty, so you and the three friends find a bus with keys in it, and find a dead bus driver, so you freak a little bit then right as you are about to move him out of the way, blood starts coming out of his mouth and as he hurls at you, you dodge him and find more people who want to eat your flesh (zombies) overriding the bus, so you lock yourselves in the bus!.!.!.!.and you just take it from there, hope i helped :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
