Yeah I can understand why you need the motivation!. I reread the first book and was horrified when I discovered how boring it was!. Trust me though, the level of skill in how it's written improves as you progress through the series!.

I think it first starts getting good in the third book because it becomes a little less amateurly written!. But don't be tempted to skip the second one because that's really important to the storyline!.

Personally my favourites are the 4th, 6th and 7th book!. The plot thickens from the 4th book on and the 7th book ties up the whole series brilliantly!. I just like the 6th book because it develops Voldemort's character more!. Seriously, he is one of the best thought out antagonists ever!.

So bear with it coz it really pays off!. Fortunately I started the series when I was seven so I had the benefit of thinking it was brilliant all the way through!. It sort of grew as my reading ability grew if you know what i mean!. Just proof that the series is a brilliant childhood book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I found all of it interesting, but I think it definitely picked up at the third book!. The backstory of what actually happened with Harry's parents and Sirius and Lupin is great!. The second book is good too, but the third is where the storyline gets deeper and the fourth is where the action picks up more!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

When I first started reading the books I had trouble getting into the first one also!. Second was better, but the book the really hooked me (and most people) is book 3!.

Keep reading until the end of book 3, and if by then they can't get you, it will just be a tedious up hill battle!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had a problem reading the first book too!. My mom gave it to me in the 3rd grade and I didn't read it until the 7th, but once I startd readng again, I fell in love!. To answer your question, all the good stuff comes in book 3 and 4!. The climax is book 7!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I found them all to be interesting!. But at any rate - in my opinion I think it really picks up at book 4 and onward!. Don't be discouraged by book 5, as it starts out quite slowly, but picks up pace!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it gets really interesting in the 3rd book and the rest of them from then on!. The first two are kind of boring, but if you read them quickly and get to the 3rd you'll start liking it more!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i liked them all, but once you get to the fifth book (Order of the Pheonix) it begins to get a little darker and more mature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Every book adds a layer of complexity to the story!. Well worth continuing on!. I've read the entire series a couple of times!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its always been interesting for me!.!.!.!.!.but!.!.!.!.u will find it interesting when u will start reading book 3!.its really interesting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

3 gets good, 4 gets better, 5 is freaking awesome, 6 is pretty good, 7 is the best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Personally I found them all great!. But they get better as the series goes on so keep reading!. It is very well worth it I assure you! Www@QuestionHome@Com
