Live life, and chances are you'll find it and be just as happy as they are!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Edward's a bit creepy and obsessive sometimes!. I never understood what the huge appeal was!. I mean, he watched her sleep before she even knew he was there!. That's stalkerish!. Once she knows, fine, but when she's unaware of it, that's creepy!. He physically barred her from going to see her best friend!. And when he wasn't there to do so, he bribed his sister into physically barring Bella from seeing Jacob!. I was pretty okay with Edward in general up until I read the beginning of Eclipse, and then that just sent up huge warning bells to me!. If I had a boyfriend who kept me from seeing my friend(s), I'd tell him to either get the hell over it or leave!. Whether or not HE thinks it's "safe" doesn't matter!. Bella was aware of what Jacob was, and the risks in hanging out with a werewolf; after all, she'd seen Emily's face!. She knew what could happen!. If Edward had really respected and loved her, he would have thought of her as mature and intelligent enough to make an informed decision!. It would be like parents trying to physically bar their adult daughter (or son) from marrying a person with AIDS!. Their daughter knows the risk of having sex with someone who has AIDS; even with every possible precaution, it's still not 100% safe!. But if she loves that person, and she understands the risks, then it's her choice!. Not anyone else's!. Not approving is one thing, but physically barring someone from seeing someone they love is quite another!. I'm not saying he's a bad person, but he's not the perfect prince everyone makes him out to be!. If I had the choice to date Edward, I wouldn't!.
