Has anyone read the book Gulliver's Travels!?!? How old/what grade were in when you read it, what class did you read it for, and what did you think of it!?!?

I am in 16 and in 11th grade and I am reading Gulliver's Travels right now for History Class!. I think that the book is really long and boring!. I have been reading it for 2 months now and I am only almost done with part 2!.!.!. I mean its interesting but it seems like they just go on and on and on!. They could have said the same thing in one or 2 paragraphs instead it takes up 2 - 3 pages!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i remember reading this in 5th grade!. I was an avid reader and read anything and everything I could get my hands on!. I remember it being slow and drawn out, I agree with you whole heartedly!. I can tell you though when I glanced through it at the age of 22 everything took on a whole new meaning!.!.!. though still drawn out there was often a purpose to it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I read it as summer reading for Honors English III, when I was going into 11th grade!. I remember finding it pretty interesting compared to other books I had read for school!. I think the only section I really found boring was the third one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
