Question: What books for as level history and politics!?
hey:)!.!.!.i have an exam coming up in January for Politics and History, and i was wondering what sort of revision book i should buy!. For every exam i've done in GCSE, i've had a revision book for every single subject!!.!.!.i know i'm a little wierd!.!.but!.!.!.that's what i always do!.
i need help with finding a good book for history!.!.(aqa, russia and germany)!.!.!.and a good book for politics (edexcel)!.
could you guys send me some links so that i can check out the book before i buy them!? i've tried looking on the CGP website but they don't have either!.!.thanks for all the help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all CGP will no longer help you!.!.!.i know its a sad thought as the diagrams were always amusing!.with alevels its so much easier to buy a good guide that is specifically for the exam board of a subject like edexcel etc!. history germany and russia lots of schools encourage heinmann textbook or the access history!. links provided below!. depends what particular period you're studying aswell!. also, remember that revision guides can only go so far read around the subject aswell, with alevels they prefer you too aswell so in essays you have more information that just your text book plus it shows a strong inclination to independent learning!.
on nelson thornes site it's a link to the online catalogue so you can find books that are relevant to your course!. also, ask teachers if they can suggest any good books or guides or go into a bookshop, waterstones are really helpful and as for a recommend!. alternatively go onto waterstones!.com and use the ask a bookseller link it's helped me loads of times!. happy searching!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
