For my NaNoWriMo I am writing your traditional romantic chick-lit, but I was thinking that maybe I should do it from his point of view!. Show everything in the male prospective!. I just don’t know if that will kill it or not, because I know more about girls, because well I am one, but I think it would be interesting!. What do you think!?
Let me tell you a little bit about the story line!. My girl has just started community college after seeing all her friends head off the 4 year colleges!. She has a room mate that she does not particularly like and none of her friends are around!. She has family problems, and her not having her friends is just adding to her depression!.
My guy just moved to a new state with his 8 month old daughter (he is 20) and only knows one guy here in his new town!. He does not have a lot but he loves his little girl!. He also has some family problems and does not deal with them the way he should!. Before his daughter he was a mess, was on drugs or drunk almost constantly but with his daughter he has turned his life around!. But still refuses to deal with his past!.
So what do you think!? Should I tell if from his point of view or hers!?
(sorry about calling them my girl, and my guy!. They still don’t have names…lol)
