Question: Can someone help me with the book I'm writing!?
I'm writing a book and it's about a girl who is connected to the moon!. She is 14 and the ranch hand is 15 so they are like really good friends!. But I'm worried it might sound too much like a romance!. Help Please!?

I already planned out the book with the ranch hand being a guy called Nyte!. His father is the bad guy named Lucifer!. So nyte is connected with stars and night so he is automatically attracted to her!. Her name is Luna for moon in latin!. So I need advice so it doesnt sound like a romance but stays the same

Make sure you are clear that it is a spiritual connection and not a romantic one!. As long as you don't write scenes about how in love they are it shouldn't sound like a romance!.
You can probably get away with the two main characters names, but I really suggest you don't name your bad guy Lucifer!. The blaring lack of subtlety there is just overkill!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
you can use some demon power or include a purpose for the main character that she needs to complete in a certain time!.!.!. this will leave only a little room for romance, i'm with you don't focus on romance it's boring but, it can spice to a storyWww@QuestionHome@Com
Make them team up to defeat the bad guy!. You could also make it so she's already married to an alien or something else space or night related!.

You could make it so that the attraction is more like a brotherly love than a romantic one!.
The night and the stars surround the moon in protectiveness!.

Have either Nyte or Luna be lesbian/gay so then you can have a romance outside their relationship but still keep them as good friends!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

you could have it that they have an argument
and then somehow they have to team together to defeat Lucifer who has done something horrible
