The old man in the bunkhouse has the old dog that smells and should be "put out of it's misery" according to some of the guys in the bunkhouse!. This theme of need for companionship vs sparing a creature (Lenny) more suffering and misery is a foreshadowing motif!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
