Question: My copy of Les Miserables is 227 pages!? !?

And people are saying it's the 16th longest book in the world!? My copy is a penguin classic, recycable one that was two pounds!. It's small font, but I have a copy of sense and sensibility by the same publishers and it's much longer!. Is my copy the whole story!? It's in english, and I don't know if the english version is much shorter than the french !. !. !. !?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Being "abridged" means it has been edited/shortened!. That's why yours is much thinner than expected!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
