Question: Les Miserables !. !. !. !? !?
Okay, so I'm a bit confused about a few things;

The whole french money system!? How much is a franc!?

How is 'Jean Valjean' pronounced!?

What does Les Miserables mean!? I assumed it was something like 'The Miserable' - am I right!?

And what is your personaly option of it!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure about the franc!.

Jean Valjean is pronunced more like 'John Valjohn' but you don't say the 'j' like you would in 'john' it's really ahrd to explain it's sort of like a cross between 'john' and 'shohn' and 'chohn' all at the same time, that probably didn't help much, sorry!.

I think it means the miserables, that doesn't seem to make sense but literally translated i think that's what it means although in meanign it might be more like 'the misery'!.

Fianlly, by personal opinion do you mean the book or the show!?

I think the book it amazing, it's the kind of book you ought to find really boring and yet you can't put it down, it doesn't help though that it's the 16th longest book in the world (war and peace is number 14)!.

The show is even better, i watched it for the first time about a month ago and it was absuloutely breath taking, i don't know where you saw it if you saw it, i saw it in London and i loved it, the songs are amazing as is the staging and i cried all the way throguh the second act!.

Hope that answered your question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
