Question: Is Twilight really that good!?

'Cool' people are usually carrying around a twilight book showing everyone that they are reading it!. No offence, but i think that's pathetic!. I just want to know if twilight is really that good to be showing everyone that your reading it!. (i'm not saying every twilight reader does it)Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. It's way overrated!. It's poorly-written, full of cheesy love lines, it's cliche, has no plot, no depth or meaning, no literary value, and obsessive fangirls claiming it's the "best book ever" get really annoying too!.

Yeah, I think it must be pretty good!.
I had a friend who was skeptical about it, and when she read it really liked it!. She said the writing style is really good and the guy character is brilliant!.
I think it's pretty lame if you are just carrying around the book to show it off, fair enough if you are currently reading it!.
At my library there are like 20 reserves on each book, there must be something good about it and also movie producers think it's good since they are making a movie!. Worth a read, I say!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's about as "good" as Harry Potter!. Which isn't to say that it's terrible, it's just!.!.!.popular literature, and usually gets very much overhyped!. I haven't read it, but my mother says that although she enjoys reading it, some of the plot elements are just stupid and unrealistic (not the paranormal stuff, some of the other stuff that goes on between characters is just stupid, I won't say as not to spoil the book)!.

Basically, if you thought Harry Potter was incredible, you'll probably enjoy the Twilight series, but if you didn't really like the writing in Harry Potter, you probably won't enjoy Twilight either!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well, if you really think about it, most people go for vamp books for the thrill of a life they could never have!.!.!.so when they read Twilight, they see a normal girl who lives their dreams!. anyway, i thought it was great, but there was some cheesey-ness to it!.!.!.but, honestly, i read the book BEFORE people obsessed over it, having inside sources!. so if you read it with a critical view, rather than just to escape from the world for a few hours, you really will not like it at all!. the cliche part of the series added a sweet touch to it; i mean, come ON, who would not want a vampire with tacky love-lines iching to be your hubby!? I was skeptical to read it at first but I found a copy on sale and bought it just to see what all the hype was about and it sat on my bookshelf for like 6 months at least!. When I finally got around to reading it though it was surprisingly good, and I finished it within a few days!. I didn't carry it around showing people I was reading it though, that sounds a bit pathetic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not great, but it's not horrible either!. In my opinion, it's just a so-so book to enjoy and then forget!.

In my school, some people here and there read Twilight, but because they like it, not to look cool!. The closest I've seen to actual obsession is a girl wearing a Twilight T-shirt and wearing a BD pin on her backpack, but I know her--she is definitely not obsessive!.

It depends on what kind of books you are interested in!.
It doesn't hurt you to pick one up and start reading it!.
The worst thing that could happen is that you don't like it and have to put it down!.
Don't listen other people's opinion until you get your own opinion and thoughts of the book!.

My opinion though, it that it's a very good book!.
I really love fiction books and love books with mythical creatures like mermaid, fairies, dragons, etc!.

The first book is decent!. Lots of unfulfilled lust!. But the series goes downhill with each book!. Less action, less interesting descriptions of special powers like mind reading!. But I would say it is a fad!. There are tons of other great books that will never get the same attention!. Just read what you are interested in!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
