Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The Stand by Stephen King, its a fantastic book, lots of great characters good and evil and it could really happen to us!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Really difficult to answer as my favourite book changes with my mood!.

My current favourite children's book is
Michael Morpurgo : Private Peaceful!.
This book is set in WW1 and is about life as an ordinary soldier!. It is a poignant story as the main character's brother is executed as a traitor!. He was one of the almost 300 men executed when they were suffering from shellshock!.

My current favourite adult book is
Mitch Albom: The five people you meet in Heaven
This is the story of how our lives are shaped by the people we meet and sometimes by people we do not even know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice and many other classics!. I also love the twilight Saga and they are probably some of my favorite books but my fave book is Guitar Girl by Sarra Manning!. I love this book because its well written and is a great girly teen novel that adults will enjoy as well!. Its a book about a girl who starts a band with her to best mates, they do a gig and finish the gig with a new guitarist and a new drummer!.:D Its about the girl, Molly, struggling with press, love, and being famous!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm going to be really boring and say Lord of the Rings by Tolkien!. The truly epic scope, the depth of background story, beautifully interwoven other world languages and poetry, the huge variety of well drawn characters and motivations!.!.!. The film trilogy, while fabulous in their own way, barely scratched the surface, and although it may be a lengthy read it is just so rewarding, and I can thoroughly recommend it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ivy by Julie Hearn
I honestly cannot bring myself to label it with a genre!. it is incredible, and written so differently from any other book!. The characters are really likable, but the ones who are not seem to fit into the story like a jigsaw!. i wrote to the author, and she wrote back sending me a piece of it that was part of the american edition that, at the time, had not been published!. i was so happy! The main character, Ivy, is a painters model, who lives a poor life with her greedy cousins in the streets of london!. as a child she ran away and worked or a "skinner" who use to lure rich children down alley ways and seal their clothes!. the fiurst half of the book is when she was 5, and the second half is when she was 15!. she was also a vegetarian, which, in the 1800, was really strange and people thought you were very odd!. the painters mother tries to kill her, taking advantage of Ivys obsession with the drug "laudanum"!. back then laudanum was used often when women were feeling tired or had a head ache!. Ivy had 5 cousins, she is the youngest, her parents dead!. Her eldest cousin, Jared, is really rough and the one who wants all her money, making her do anything to get it, no matter what it does to her!. Orlando, is basically her best friend, but in the second half of the book he is like a desperate scholar, trying to get his poems published, and never really pays her attention!. Ther are also Hor, Mad and Cyn (Horadica, Madeline, and Cynthia!.) They are three big, jealous girls!. two move out to be with their loved ones, and one of them is pregnant with one of "the boys" in Jareds gang, they are like his men who will beat people up if they don't pay the amount he wants!.
it really is an amazing books, i have read it aabout 8 times and never grow tired of it!.

My favourite book, probably The Falcon's Malteser by Anthony Horowitz!. It's my favourite because it is really funny and adventurous!. You need to read South By South-East and the third book after it, as they all link!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Gone with the wind because it is realistic and romantic and although they don't have a happy ever after ending you don't feel sorry or sad at the end of it!. You rather feel calm!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Sara's Face" by Melvin Burgess--In a sci-fi, thrilling, horrific kind of way, it is able to convey the dangers of plastic surgery in our image obsessed world perfectly:)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Too Kill A Mockingbird!.

it is a fantastic story of racism and unwfairness in American society in I would assume the 20s or 30s!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
